A popular place to eat as there was a long wait for those who did not book. We enjoyed our stay and intend to visit again in the future. Very well placed for visitors to the area.

  The fact that our dogs were able to enjoy a wonderful holiday with us in such a luxurious and comfortable hotel. They had great walks close by, we had a fantastic room (best nights sleep for ages), excellent service by all the staff, with nothing too much trouble for them and truly tasty food. That dogs are welcomed and that the owners are too. Staff friendly. Amazing breakfast choice. I liked the two lounges to chill out in and the board games provided. I liked the boot room for the dogs to dry off in after they have been in beautiful stream at the end of the garden. I Loved my cream tea and my two glasses of delicious wine in the sun in the garden.   lovely hotel based in an old pub, the staff were all very helpful, friendly and accomodating, the room was cosy, warm, clean and comfy and quiet (room 21), liked the allocated parking system which is included with all superior rooms and made for a stress free arrival and stay, the food in the bar/restaurant was good quality and interesting, would... o que as pessoas dizem » recommend if you intend to eat in that you book beforehand and preferably in the morning as its open to non residents and seemed to be popular to loc - First impressions of the 3 Crowns were of the friendliness of the staff and the lovely bar area and dining room, our room was smart clean with an adequate ensuite although the shower was rather small. The food was superb with the waitresses attending with efficiency and good humour. My partner and I had a wonderful two day stay, wish it could have been longer.

  On arrival we were greeted at the door by the hotel manager and several staff wishing my wife happy birthday. Then given a tour of the hotel and shown to our room which was "FINGLE" it was wonderful. Everything about gidleigh is immaculate we even walked into the woods to find the foot paths clear of leaves and being december this must of been a m... o que as pessoas dizem » onumental task for the grounds staff. The food was out of this world. All in all from the second we arrived to the second we left everyone at gidleigh - A truly magical place. Even though we only stayed for a weekend, it felt much longer as we were so relaxed. The views and surrounding area are spectacular, and the welcome and service by the staff are the best that we have experienced. We had only been there about three hours and we were talking about when we could make a return trip. Truly wonderful.
