Everything. We go to The Lakes often, but had not stayed in Keswick. The location, staff, room (very spacious) and facilities were very good indeed. We really look forward to returning soon to The Skiddaw Hotel. - Central location, high standard of accommodation, friendly staff.

Dawn and Paul extended a very warm welcome, the food was excellent, the accommodation was very good and based close to the town centre and the lake. The owners Dawn & Paul were very welcoming, but not overbearing. The room was clean and well equipped, and thoughtful details had been added. Also, they were not stingy on the tea and coffee facilities in the room. They gave us some good advice about the local area and hill climb we were planning to do... and the breakfast we had there was lovely!

A most charming inn set in a beautiful location overlooking Skiddaw. The staff were exceptionally friendly and as for the food - what can we say but 5 Star with emphasis on top quality local produce cooked with flair and presented with style.
