  We had booked a twin-bedded room, but as none were available the hotel gave us two adjacent double rooms for the agreed price of the twin-bedded room - very generous. The rooms were very pleasant, the staff were very helpful and the food at dinner was excellent. The hotel is very close to the Hawk Conservancy Trust that we were visiting. Rooms were decorated to a high standard with very comfy beds. Great access to the A303 made it an ideal location for Thruxton Motor Circuit. Would definitely stay again

  The staff especially karen on reception were amazing. If this hotel had a/c I would give 10 out of 10 for hotel , staff , location and facilities. The location is an ideal jump off spot for london, salisbury, winchester, basingstoke and the south coast. My advice is install air conditioning. - Very conveniently located near the a303, which fitted in very well for my need for an overnight stay part-way on the long drive from Heathrow to Cornwall after a long flight. Restaurant in the same building was very convenient and the food was good. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Good shower and bathroom with no plumbing problems. The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant staff made me a reservation for dinner on a very busy night.
