Dinning choices were excellent, a numbers of restaurants to choose from of different cuisines. The pool was spectacular, I stayed in a pool accress room There a are 3km of of swimming canals to swim through. Beach was lovely and the grounds and gardens were immaculate -

Spent five days here. Requested ground floor room which they provided. Large room with good size bathroom and small garden out back. Bed was hard. They put a comforter over the mattress which made a bit of difference. Pool is great. This property is split into three areas. We were in the tower part with the big pool away from the beach. were very nice. Khao Lak is a great place to visit, but you do require
transport such as a scooter if you wish to get around. Taxi are on,ly
150b to the main area of town but may be more at night. If you wish to
chill by the pool or beach and eat in the restaurants in the surrounding
area which there is a lot to choose from transport is not a problem.

Where do I start with this hotel... Absolutely divine!
Beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds, beautiful food in restaurants, option of bars. In the middle of khoa lak centre.
I absolutely loved it here. Fantastic place of you want to take children, there's a separate pool that can be used and an adult 'peace' pool that could not be used by children

Stayed here for 3 nights and wished that we'd stayed longer! Most definitely a 5* resort and highly, highly recommended.

I was there for my sisters wedding & the resort was amazing! Great
food/service, staff amazing, fabulous views, swim up bar great &
pool for kids so great for your family. My son loved it there too! We
stayed at the pool villas which I recommend highly if you have kids. I
would definitely come back & am planning to stay at The Sands again.

We loved our stay, had a great room by the pool. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the gardens were beautiful .
Being low season there was a construction site next door, but this was a minor inconvenience.
The hotel is in a beautiful position , right on the beach. -

My stay at Monochrome was flawless. A rare achievement in Thailand. The staff were amazing and the hotel itself is a design dream. The service was five star from start to finish. -
