I stayed for 4 nights whilst on business and am of the age whereby I want to stay in hostels for the environment and experience whilst meeting people around my age group.
The location was perfect for my commute into work and the metro line is at the top of the street near the basilica.

My only idea for -
First of all would like to say that staff is great, they are very cool, and have good music taste!)) Also girls always kept the hostel very clean. Location is good, right next to La Sagrada Familia, and not far from the very centre of Barcelona.

I liked the crew behind the desk. They were really nice and helpful. Cristian, Micky and Rafael during the day and Dave and Jose during the night. They always made me feel welcome. the staff guys are generally nice-ish. The place is cool and looks great. I stayed in the apartment for 1 night where i got a room to myself and I really liked it. Clean, quiet and stuff. The mixed dorm looked fun too. Monday pub crawl and people were partying in the kitchen and stuff - it seemed very fun and I would have loved to join in had it not been for my long accumulated fatigue. Great place !

This is by far the best hostel I've stayed at. The price is just ridiculously good for such a great hostel. The Wi-fi is the fastest I've ever had while traveling and the place is really clean and fresh. Having opened only two weeks before I went there might have helped but I'm hoping they will keep it clean. They have an amazing and open kitchen

Everything is great about this hostel! I was planning to stay there for one-two nights but stayed for 4, as I had everything I wanted there. Great staff. Very clean beds (cleaner that in the previous 4 star hotel I've stayed in). Clean toilets and showers and common areas. Very safe, as near each bed there is a safe locked-only-by-your-card box. Small lights near each bed makes it easy to read at night and at the same time you don't disturb the others. Though I stayed in 16 person room it was v

I rented the quadruple room for myself, my college-age daughter and her friend. The room was very comfortable with a double bed for myself and bunk-beds for the girls. It was all very clean and comfortable, with a cute wrought iron balcony (very Barcelona), shared bathroom/shower facilities. The whole hostel is quite roomy, with plenty of bathrooms and a cute kitchen. The staff is wonderful. Location is perfect, less touristy but quite close to tourist spots, a short walk to the Metro. Barcelona Urbany Hostel is very nice place to stay, it has good location, close to the Clot metro, and it's just 1 stop away from Arca de triomf, olso it's just 10-15 min walk to Sagrada de Familia.
