  After a day on the road coming to the "Vineyard" is like paradise. We were upgraded to the garden suite at no further cost and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Literally 10 minute drive from Stellenbosch and 3 minutes away from Somerset West this is a good location for outings - or just to relax in the lovely garden and on the spacious pool. Theresa and Coete are utterly charming hosts: they gave me medicine and helped nurse me when I had sunstroke, gave my wife a blanket to keep her warm at the rugby and lent us their gps to get there. Beautiful accommodation, really comfy bed and option to dine on site. More like staying with friends than a B&B.

  We booked very short notice. Still this was no problem. Amazing breakfast. Very nice and comfortable rooms. Very nice staff, Hardy knows all the nice winehouses to go to for winetastings. Furthermore they also know a lot about the country in general and have good tips on places to go and see. The hotel is in the one of the most beautiful spots you've ever seen - surrounded by mountains on every side. Even though it was freezing at night, the room was nice and cosy and warm. Comfortable bed, huge spa-bath, extremely well-priced accommodation - oh and for breakfast we had the best bacon I've ever had.

  The service at Rusthuiz Guest House was fautless. The most welcoming and helpful team we experienced in South Africa. The team were fantastic in recommending restaurants and managed to secure us a table at late notice. All staff at Rusthuiz were a pleasure! Reserved supper, spoilt us when we sat by the tranquil swimming pool. Perfection. Loved our stay and thought the beach basket with towels was a wonderful addition.

  The cottage is situated in the most beautiful mountain area and a very short drive to Stellenbosch. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine on a very cold evening . It is spacious, neat and absolutely adorable. We will definitely stay there again!
