Great hotel, built in 1886. You feel you've gone back in time when you walk into the hotel and rooms. The staff speaks English and is extremely helpful and friendly. Thanks to them, we could check-in early. Great location in the old city, a couple of minutes walking distance to all interesting sights and the river. The room had a fridge and an electric kettle. The pool and the gym were excellant. The staff were very friendly and the continental style breakfeast was very good. It is a luxury style hotel and very conveniently located to visit the Old Town of Torun. Access to the speedway track which is located about 6 km away is easy via taxi or tram. Alternatively it would take about 50 mins to walk.
