  All the staff are friendly and helpful. Although the hostel at the hill, a little bit far from the harbour and town center, we arrived by bus, there is a bus stop just opposite of it, only two minutes walking, and when we left by ferry, the staff drove us to the harbour, and there is a trail walking to harbour only less than ten monutes.   Our room was clean and comfortable. The school were the hostel is situated is in a very nice area and has fantastic view of the fjord. Very representative selection in the morning buffet also! - Friendly staff, quiet location, plenty of parking

  It was a nice stay in ålesund hostel. For a small price you can have a kind and helpful service ( even when you get sunburn ;)), clean and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. Although the hostel is situated in a center- you do not need to worry about the noise during the nights. You can sleep well.
