Beautiful! The staff was excellent! The location was perfect. It is on
the wall of the medina but the entrance is on the outside of the medina.
So you could drive up and drop off your luggage at the front of the
hotel. You could easily get around for site seeing and shopping. The
room was spacious and covered in beautiful mosaic tiles. My only pro

This hotel is beautiful, spacious, with very nice (decorated, tiled, clean) rooms, comfortable beds, public areas, and very polite, helpful staff. The restaurants/bar are on the top floor, with great views of the Medina/hillside and very good food.

What's not to like about this Riad and the wonderful family that
lives and runs this place? It's friendly, beautiful, tranquile and
has a homely feel. Especially when you are smart and book a lunch
and/or dinner which Madame Fatima will prepare for you herself. She
is the best cook we've encountered in Morocco. The breakfast is

What a great place! We too were upgraded to a larger room because the hotel was not full. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and couldn't be happier. We were 2 couples and we reserved suite amina, but since Hotel wasn't full they upgraded us to 2 beautiful and confortable bedrooms (with great bathroom) in a house just in front of the main building, witch had all facilities corresponding to the main building including wireless wich worked very well!
Location is near Bab Guissa, wich is very convenient if you have a car, since you can leave it in the park (not free) just outside medina and walk just a bit

peaceful place too. The dar/riad is exactly what you want: a
nondescript door opens to unveil an exquisitely decorated and ornate

The family that runs Dar El Bali was warm and generous, welcoming and helpful. The Dar is a lovely home, well-maintained and beautifully furnished in traditional Moroccan style and a perfect location within the Fes medina. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Fes.

Luxury Ryad, beautifully furnished with very good breakfast. The staff is nice and helpful. I recommend to have a dinner in the Ryad - the cooking is excellent. The location near a door of the Medina allowed to arrive by car or taxi without getting lost. A good choice at a decent price.

with peaceful fountain and gorgeous Moroccan decor, beautifully
appointed rooms, amazingly talented and hands on owner who is also a
gourmet chef, who made my wife and I the most amazing 5 course dinners
each night. We can't rave about our experience there enough! Hats
off to Michel, an extremely hard-working owner who makes it all seem
effortless!!!!

Receptionist was lovely. She made a special effort to have breakfast available early for us and another couple who were catching an early train to Marrakech.
Nice sized room, well appointed. Good shower. Room has on top floor so it was very quiet and has its own balcony although you get a better view over Fes from the adjacent terrace.

Friendliness of the riad team - the two ladies were very helpful and
knowledgeable, took me to a local hammam, arranged a henna for me. The
riad itself is a hidden gem, indeed - luxurious rooms, well maintained
and perfectly clean. Royal suite highly recommended, but all rooms have
a charm of their own and are a nice choice. Location - 1 min away from
one of the two main streets of the medina, yet still on a quiet street,

This place is fantastic! Really beautiful architecture right in the
Medina, which means you can do most of the sightseeing by foot. We had
dinner there for 25eur pp, which I think is expensive but the food was
truly amazing. Breakfast was excellent as well. I wish I could stay more
time! We hired a guide through them for 25eur, which was ok. They charge
10eur for a transfer to the train station in a grand-taxi, but we took a
small-taxi there for 2eur.
