The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage. The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!!
The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ...
In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

Great value for this area, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G views, 15-minute walk into Positano, so a little away from all the crowds and noise, wide variety of foods provided for Continental breakfast, the owner Felice Murano, is an accomplished chef and will prepare deliciously simple Italian foid for dinner on request, a quiet beach and 'Path of the Gods' close by, the staff are courteous, accomodating of my needs and very helpful.
