Rooms overlooking the garden are beautiful. Staff is warm and friendly, the hotel is only a few steps from the Doma.   First, I really like the location. It's close to a park and is away from the main tourist streets, which is very nice. You know, you've beeb with tourists all day so it's nice to get away from the crowd and experience privacy for a while. Second, I love the staff. They're very friendly.   Right in the heart of Florence, this hotel is in an amazing spot. Just a short walk (up a little street and across the square) and you are at the Ufizzi Museum, after having passed all the restaurants. The rooms are furnished with basic furniture, yet amazingly comfortable-we had a table with 2 chairs, wardrobe, bed, and two bedside tables in ours... o que as pessoas dizem » . We also had a near new bathroom, with some of the other rooms being renovated while we were there. Fast, strong wifi, and very friendly, helpful sta - We couldn't have hoped to have lived at a better hotel, particularly from the point of view of its location, literally a few steps from the piazza della signoria and the palazzo vecchio (and also extremely close to nearby attractions such as the uffizi, bargello and ponte vecchio). The hotel itself is quite wonderful, and our room was clean and more than adequate for our purposes. We'd chosen the 'private bathroom outside the room' option, and it ended up being only a minor issue (if at all).
