  We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Das Tergernsee and had a wonderful time. The entire reservation was handled professionally and efficiently and we were delighted with the room, menu and decor. The hotel is beautiful, with the most fantastic view of the lake. Our only regret was not spending more time in this lovely hotel. Fantastic area for hill walking on clearly marked trails to suit all degrees of difficulty. Stunning scenery.   The hostess was very gracious and accommodating. She was there when we needed her and yet granted us our privacy. She provided us with a lovely breakfast.   The owners and the staff were excellent and could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with a very good standard of breakfast. Location was good - a short walk to the town centre and very close to the lake.
