Rooms quiet despite train tracks in rear (most hotels along this section of Rhine have trains passing close by). Large shower. No air conditioning although evenings were cool. Hotel was comfortable, clean and the family room was very big and well laid out with plenty of space. It's about 10 mins walk to the centre of St Goar along the Rhine.   What a place Jocham and his family and staff were warm friendly and could not be more helpful. What a great spot to explore the scenery of the Rhine Valley. Then when you are hungry after a day exlporing eat in the bar along with the locals great food and good atmosphere and Jocham is always on hand with information and a wonderful sence of humour... o que as pessoas dizem » . Will go back - Very nice hotel with friendly obliging English speaking staff. Good food and party atmosphere. Hotel can provide tickets for Rhine boat trip and take you to departure point and collect you on return in the 'Winzerhaus Shuttle' minibus. Short walk to Loreley viewpoint overlooking Rhine Gorge.

Attended with promptness to my husbands Celiac disease and supplied the breakfeast with gluten free products.
