  The owners were really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.When we needed information about trains they printed it out for us and they provided a wonderful winetasting evening. We enjoyed the quietness of the guesthouse and the easy access to countryside - great not to have TV!   Ellen and Dirk are wonderful hosts who make your stay memorable. We had a room that included a sitting room, large bedroom and a very large bath. We overlooked one of the towns towers and the Rhine River. We also ate at the Bacharacher Hof restaurant twice and the food far exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend the Bacharacher Hof for your Rhine vacat - The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was amazing. The location was very convenient to the train station and was situated in a convenient location for shopping and sightseeing in the charming Rhine town. There are many wonderful sights in easy walking distance and it was also very close to the K-D ferry terminal where we embarked on a Rhine cruise. An amazing historic location all in all.

  I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Im Schulhaus. Even though it was more expensive than my other nights on the track in Kaub and Sankt Goarshausen, it was much more well-appointed as well. I had a room with a patio and lounge chairs, which was perfect after a long day of hiking on the Rheinsteig. The staff was fantastic as well.
