  Wonderful value for the money. For 80 euro a night we stayed in the "new" building, and were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our suite. The included breakfast was nice - wide selection and great service. Rosie was especially helpful with dining and shopping suggestions and directions.   It was very clean and cozy hotel. The room was equipped well enough and pretty silent, therefore neighbors and outside noise were not disturbing during the stay. The hotel is situated not far from central station (Munich HBF), around 5-10min. of walk distance from it.   This hotel is in a very convenient location close to the train station, subway, museums and inner city sites. The room was very spacious and nicely furnished with a comfortable four poster king size bed. The bathroom had a roomy shower and a much appreciated heated floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. We ... o que as pessoas dizem » were very pleased with the hotel and its location, and we stayed there a second time after a side trip to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. - The hotel location is exrtremely great because it is situated almost right on the Karlsplatz and it takes about 7 minutes of nice walk to get to Marienplatz. Besides, the Main Railway station is also close and the U-Bahn station is right in front of the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is cheap and very tasty. - The staff at Hotel Stachus. We had caught the overnight train from Berlin so arrived very early to the hotel. The lady on reception was very gracious and looked after our bags and arranged early check in for us ~12 noon. Very well located, close to trains and Main Street. Big windows that allowed fresh air at a good breeze at night.
