  . Very friendly welcome by the owner. Plenty of room in the carpark but the hotel garage was made available to me to park my motorcycle. (no issues with security ) The hotel gardens are wonderful, a pleasant location for a drink or meal. The regular bus service to Trier stops right by the hotel. Despite its location some miles outside of town, the hotel has a good public bus connection to Trier. Rooms are well equipped, breakfast is also very good, friendly staff.   Unfortunately, we did not realise that the restaurant was Michelin star and that it was booked. The food looked good. Our arrival was delayed by my wife's illness and that was no problem. We were not able to stay for breakfast and I was pleased that they did not charge us. Very good location, about 50 m from the Mosel. The owners Peter and Maria were very welcoming and made sure we were happy with everything. Apartment had a lovely private roof terrace to relax on after a days touring. 15 minutes to Trier by car. Luxembourg city only 25 minutes drive - Wonderful self-catering apartment for a long weekend. Warm welcome from the owner. Walks possible straight from the door as well as many more possibilities just a short drive away.
