  This is a jewel of a hotel. Atop mountain, it sits below a taller mountain with the Wartburg Castle atop it. My room was spacious, with high ceilings and lots of windows. Beautiful view to the mountains and over the town. The room exceeded my expectations in every way. I would go out of my way to stay there. - Wonderful views, especially from terrace and restaurant. Excellent food. Spacious, comfortable room. Very helpful, friendly staff. Good parking facilities. A bit too far/steep for us to walk into town but taxi was prompt and reasonably priced. We wished we could stay longer!

  the manager, who runs the hotel on his own, was very cordial and helpful. We stayed in the Garden house with complete kitchen, beds were very good, quiet environment. Breakfast was very special in a family sort of way. The stay was very enjoyable! - the building was nice and not too far from downtown
