I can't say enough about the enjoyment and convenience this accomodation provides. We treat it as our home in Celle. Wolfgang, the owner is most accomodating and the restaurant below the appartment is outstanding. Within a short walking distance to a bakery and grocery store. -

If you are travelling by train I would advise taking a taxi from the train station as it is very reasonable.

Very good hotel with attentive staff in wonderful town of Celle.
It's located close to railway station which makes it ideal to those who want to see Lower Saxony using trains.
Breakfast was nice and restaurant in the hotel serves delicious food.
Overall I'll recommend it to all my friends and will be happy to stay there again myself. -

The building was constructed in 1612, and is nice on the outside, but very modern in the rooms, clean, ten minute walk from the Celle old town, which has 500 half-timbered homes and shops. The folks who ran the place were helpful, informative, and pleasant. One of our favorite things about staying at hotels in Germany is the the breakfast, and theirs was as good as they get. We stay in hotels in Europe about two times a month, and this is one that we would stay at again.
