The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. They were extremely attentive towards our dog. She got treats and water and was allowed to run around the fenced in garden. It was my birthday and they remembered and congratulated me. They made the day very special. The food in the restaurant was out of this world and we were allowed to take our dog there. We even cane back from Boppard on the day we had left the room, to eat there again, it was so tasty and great value for money.
todos opiniões » Very friendly owner. Great restaurant with a view of castles and river. We had two rooms on separate floors. One was facing the front with great river and castle views. Second room was facing side, had balcony but you could still see the castles and river. Although the rooms were a little small, they were cosy, clean, and beds were comfy. Oh, and loved the little packs of gummy bears each night on the pillow. I arrived the day the Rhein flooding occurred. Despite the staff being busy dealing with that, they took time to welcome me and get me settled. I was there for two weeks and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, the rooms were basic and clean with outstanding views of the Rhein River and castles across the river. I will stay here again on my next trip to Germany. Home away from home. Seldom to see this kind of family run hotel. Marcus and Susan will feel you at ease just like home and always at help in providing travel tips and information. Hearty breakfast, good, adequate tasty dinner, and remarkable cuteness and ambiance of the restaurant. Well deserved to stay again. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful & always ready to give time to answer questions about the surrounding area and related activities. Their pleasant & happy manner set the tone for the hotel & we had many chats with other guests, who were also enjoying their stay. Everything was great. Very friendly personnel, great restaurant. We asked for a room with a balcony, we received a positive reply immediately. Magnificent view over Rhein and castles from the balcony. Totally recommended!. Marcus and his wife were very friendly. The evening dinner was excellent - best we`ve had on the Rhine. The bed was comfortable. It was great to be able to board a sight-seeing boat trip so near to the hotel. Excellent all round. Really good dinner menu and excellent breakfast. The location fronting the Rhine was perfect with great views of the 2 castles on the opposite side. Very friendly and helpful ownerfamily. Towels are a little bit stiff probably due to water or the way they are being laundered. The balcony was very tatty and the outside chairs and table needed replacing. In fact, the whole place needed an uplift.A full length mirror would have been helpful. The `bathroom` was extremely small and old fashioned. No dislikes at all. Nearby railway makes some noise. nothing at all. All was okay.
