Very charming chateau outside of Onzain. The chateau keepers could not
have been kinder or more accommodating. Our French was not strong at
all, and they very kindly helped translate a menu for us at a very nice
restaurant they recommended in the neighboring town to celebrate our
anniversary. They also called the restaurant to make the reservation

from our 2nd floor room was truly spectacular! And the breakfast they

I loved the Hotel. Very nice staff and very relaxing place
conveniently located next to the most famous Loire Castles. I will go
back. A great find!
The Loire castles are beautiful and visiting them is a pleasure.
I stayed 3 days but I could have stayed a week. So much to see.
Do not forget to visit the caves and do some wine tasting.

A beautiful place owned by a really nice couple. We enjoyed the Gresse couple hospitality and the spacious and tastefully decorated suite. The place is ideal for families: the suite accommodates a family of five comfortably and the yard is full of fun. The Gresse kids are very friendly and were eager to show my kids all the animals: swans & ducks in the moat, chickens & rabbits in the yard, and then climbed with them to the tree house and picked apples right from the tree. Lovely pools which weren't too crowded.
The two young staff in reception, one English and one French, were excellent and helped us to book canoeing and other trips.The night security man was also very helpful.

The property is very interesting. Traditional, very well maintained and decorated with great taste. Our superior room was very spacious, overlooking the garden, and the bathroom was modern. Breakfast is very complete. We really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, excellent for spending the afternoon. Overall a great base for visiting the Loire Valley.

staff very friendly and efficient. nice touches included a printed summary of world news in English(and other languages) at the breakfast table, and a printed weather summary.
Good restaurant, use of local ingredients.
Breakfast buffet better than average, for example fresh pineapple.

The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained and parking was made available by the hotel. Breakfasts and the evening meal served in the dining room were excellent. The staff was helpful, considerate and responsive. We would stay there again.
