The hotel is very conveniently placed in the centre of Chateauroux opposite a multi storey car park. There is a lift which is essential if you are on the third floor, as we were, to carry luggage. Very nice 3 star hotel with a family and cosy atmosphere.
Slept very well. Comfortable and spacious rooms. We feel they have been renovated recently.

The owners were helpful and obliging. Ther was a lift close to our floor and the free parking was great. Neat and tidy. -
As noted by another reviewer, we used it as an over-night stopover on the way to the Dordogne. It was easy to find, and the owner was very helpful - advising on restaurants, and helping out with trying to contact the next hot

The hotel was centrally located, so gave plenty of dining options. It was exceptionally clean, contemporary and the rooms were well designed. The front desk was helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay there. -

Look, it wasn't mind-blowing, but it was incredible for the value and location. We were driving from Belgium to Spain, it's *right* off the highway and the price is wonderful with a 24 hour staff. The room was quite clean, though not luxurious at all, and the bed was pretty comfortable, though not with mindblowing linens. All in all, if I just need a place to sleep for a night, I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Located in a historical cobble stone street in the heart of 18th century Chateauroux, which my GPS struggled to find, this chambre d'hote is perfectly positioned to visit the nearby restaurants and to learn about the history of the town. The room was perfect, large and very comfortable with many books describing the history of the town. The owners were extremely helpful and deserve all the praise they receive through these reviews. I will definitely stop there again.
