Absolutely the best experience of our stay in China. Stuff is exceptional, really outstanding. Thank you Katherine for your hospitality, help and making us feel at home. Your hotel and your attention to the customer makes this hotel the best we stayed in a long time. The location is incredible. You can walk everywhere! Food and service was great. Truly great hotel with great stuff. I found them committed to providing and understanding Western standards of service, while offering a local authentic environment and experience.Thank you !!!

After 2 months planning, My wife and I began our trip from Shanghai to Lijiang on 24th, Aug. In the beginning, I always hesitate if it's ok or not that my wife booked the hotel i never heard, even she said it's definitely because Emerald Boutique Hotel had very good evaluation and very high score on the letsbookhotel.com. But concern is there in my heart.... Thanks to PUSA, My luck day started from meeting with handsome guy in the Lijiang Airport, who were been sent to pick up me to the Emerald Boutique Hotel. From that time, the Emerald Boutique Hotel make me feel we are in a big family, not only room service, breakfast, night party(haha, we cook foods together in the kitchen with some hotel people on our request) but warm heart introduce and help to the Lijiang. (it's very important to a fresh). Actually, one of most satisfaction that i feel is the location of this hotel, very quiet, clean street near the southern entrance of the Old Town, it's very suit for the people who don't like noise. Really thanks the Emerald Boutique Hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. We first stayed for three nights and when we came back from Shangri La we were offered a nice free upgrade; free shuttle to the airport (after 3 nights).

The staff were lovely, very helpful, attentive and spoke a little bit of English. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious and designed well, the bathroom was modern and worked well - which is hard to come by in China! Breakfast was basic but delicious and they let you eat as much as you want.

That they advertised a private courtyard with my room which turned out to be the communal & most public courtyard so I was woken every morning by other guests eating breakfast outside my bedroom window. There was also no bath in my room as shown in the photos.
