As I have trouble negotiating stairs, I was impressed to find a lift in this motel. There was plenty of undercover parking, and I found a spot directly in front of reception and the lift. The staff were extremely helpful and obbliging, and assisted me in making phonecalls to sort out a problem with my credit card on arrival. This motel was fantastic value for money, taking the outlook into consideration. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within a short walking distance. Unfortunately I .

This was booked as a one night stop over between the sunshine coast and sydney, however, after a night in the Mid-Pacific motel we would have actually liked to stay for a while in Port Macquarie for a couple of days longer. The rooms were really well presented, clean, fresh and welcoming. My fiance and I booked the executive room and were surprised at the quality of the room for the low cost. We will be returning and making this a frequent stop. the location,water views,very comfortable room with modern facilities, the new lift,.. we keep returning to this motel so it mustbe to our satisfaction. The easy walking from out front along the beautifully maintaine d lawns and paths through the town common tothe end of the breakwall is also a big plus. And i DO NOT HAVE SHARES IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT..PROMISE////. central to everything, walk to shops, food, pub etc.. room nice comfortable temperature. value for money. i would stay there again its very convenient and lots of parking if you have a car not that you need one considering its location and nice water views to wake up to in the morning was a bonus. This place has been recently re-furbished and they have done an excellent job. Reception was great, very friendly/efficient, location in Port is ideal, rooms comfy and clean, well appointed. Very competitively priced. Would happily stay there again. I thought the accommodation was very good. Whilst it's not luxurious, it was very clean and comfortable. It was also in very close proximity to restaurants/takeaways, shopping, level walking and the river is within metres of the motel. This was such a very convenient location as my husband was unable to walk too far. Restaurants were close, as were the cruise boats. To be so close to the water and beautiful park was wonderful. I can honestly say there was nothing that I didn't like. we found the tiles in the shower rec ess were slippery and were given an extra towel to stand on which did the trick. if i had to pick something.. maybe there should be some instruction for the air condition unit because the remote can be confusing if you haven't used one before.. or even pamphlets for local takeaway and food for people from out of the area. N/A. The proximity to a night club with lound noise and rowdy csutomers however this did stop at around 11.30 The bathrooms were a bit old fashioned however they were very clean. I particulary disliked the fan in the toilet coming on every time you switched a light on in the bathroom. .No facilities to wash things, tea towel etc., and annoying fan goes on when in bathroom, unsure why as there is a window. No free Wi-Fi. However would return anytime. Windows couldn't open more. Since the refurbishment, which is very nice, the price increase now makes it a very expensive night after paying for tickets to shows at the Glasshouse!. There was nothing to dislike. Nothing. Advertised 'with balcony' - misleading - assumed the balcony would either be private or segregated but instead it was the main thoroughfare. Also, no mirror in the room other than in the bathroom. Some of new tiles in kitchen area not grouted job looks unfinished. Water flow in shower so low it is dangerous as soap does not wash away from floor. Bathroom was a bit shabby. Noisy hotel in close proximity. didnt like the bed it had a big lump in the middle of it. Some tacky stuff on the floor. Dated bathroom. Balcony could of done with been abit bigger. Parking was not good as people not staying there use the park space. room layout didn't take advantage of view eg table at door not near window to be able to dine and look out. No balcony tap over vanity made it difficult to wash hands and fill kettle,it was too short. Rooms a bit noisy (being adjacent to the main street in town). Having my car keyed the night before we left - noted this was outside the motels control but has left a bad taste. Also, quiet noisy in the mornings with lots of trucks ad vehicles seeming to use the adjacent street & parking area as centre of activity. Room a bit small & fixtures & fittings a bit old. a little bit noisy on the wharf side. we had to leave. quite a noisy location. noise noise noise too light..no way to blackout. Sound proofing. Toilet fan too noisy. Very noisy flat (°1), far from the beach view. Even not so nice for a stop between Sydney and Gold Coast. If you happen to need going there ask for a room number as high as possible! Elevator is now up & running.
