A charming ,old style hotel ,the lifts are an experience not to be missed .

The acient British feel on ground floor，specially the lift. Great location！Very close to Central Train Station.

There is no door between dinning room and bedroom，which is not so comfortable. The noise of the shower system while in use.

The location was excellent.

When we arrived, we noticed that the price of some rooms was much cheaper that what we payed with Booking. We asked to get that price and the reception staff refused.... So, we had to pay the most expensive amount and we found that was not very commercial....

The staff were extremely helpful, including the lady who was polishing the brass at reception! My room was very clean and tidy, the attention to detail was great.

My room had a bit of a musty smell, maybe just the age and the shower cubicle needed an update b/c of the mould in places no cleaner can reach.

The delightful old world ambience but with all of the modern conveniences. The apartment was spacious and well laid out, including the bathroom which can be compromised (ie too small) in many hotels. The furnishings are of a high standard.

We have stayed quite a few times and never have had any complaints. They even upgraded us this time and we had a lovely apartment.

Walking into the hotel you were taken back in time. You felt you were in an different era. Although the lifts were up to date I felt the presence of someone waiting to escort me to my floor.

The room was big enough

The room booking description included breakfast, but it was no an actual breakfast, but only 4 slices of plain white bread (in the fridge), very cheap cereal and milk.

Had a good feel, well presented, charming, comfortable. I have recommended the hotel to others already. Good for a couple or business trips.

I could not get the Wi-Fi to work and that was one of the draw cards to your hotel for me on a business trip.

All good. Stayed at Rothbury Heritage quite a few times now. Very convenient to the airtrain. great staff.

would like to be able to turn off the airconditioner fan in apartment 108A (doing so turns of 108B also).

Room was very clean and comfortable, however the ceiling was in need of repair. Also the hotel is very quiet so slept well. The breakfast basket was very nice.

Compaired to nearby hotel found the room overpriced. Booked online at $149 for one night only to find same room advertised onsite for $20 less. Roomservice closes early and did not receive newspaper as asked.

The light breakfast is an added bonus, the bed and pillows where very comfortable. You would be surprised at the amount of motels we have stayed in and the bed and pillows were terrible. Will book again in August.

The little card that said about paying an extra $9.95 for a cooked breakfast, it needs to be bigger so its visible. Or perhaps when we checked in it could have been mentioned then.

I loved the apartment , very confortable and it was so very convenient to city and Central Station. Very clean and comfortable - I may be travelling to Brisbane again towards the end year and will certainly consider they Rothbury for accommodatiion.

I am not happy with the credit card process as I am been charged $398 as pending on my card on arrival and this is still sitting as pending on my account as of this evening (9/4/2013) and an amount of $298 has been fully charged to my credit card as well.

The receptionist was fantastic, very helpful and friendly.

Great location, close to mall, shops etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very handy to cafe nextdoor, great for coffee and breakfast and as a meeting place.

Excellent value for money. The place was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, including breakfast (a basket of provisions in the fridge). Great location, yet was very quiet.

The absence of reception staff after 8.00pm. We were due to arrive quite late, and had to call ahead to find out how to get in. Getting in was no drama, as it turned out, but I'd prefer not to have to think of that when planning a trip.

Close to Central Railway Station so easy to get to & from airport. Staff were friendly & helpful. Room service bar prices were very reasonable. Comfortable apartments.

Last weekend's wild weather made it difficult to get a meal as the 301 restaurant doesn't open on weekends & it was too wet to walk down to Queen St or Riverside to get a meal.

We planned to eat in on Friday night only to find that reception had closed early so after a shower and intending to relax we had to venture out to eat. Very disappointing. The continental breakfast was poor. Apartment could be cleaner.

The location and staff and old style feel foyer and elevators. Very clean.

Air con did not cool well, very tight squeeze to get into and once into the room, "breakfast" basket consisted of a basket with 2 single serve cereal boxes, some milk and bread to toast yourself (we went to breakfast elsewhere), very small tv.
