Room are very clean & very modern with all the gadgets that u need , the king size bed was great and the lay out of the 1 brm was just great Was great to just park the car in security parking. Had a great roof top swimming pool & gym. Easy to the public transport - bus stop over the road taking over 10 minutes into the city and travelling in the evening was free. Super market was below the hotel. Bonus is that its very quiet and staff are very helpful.

Staff followed up with a phone call (which we appreciated) after check-out re our complaint of poor TV reception - advising he had changed the cable and the reception was now fine. We weren't aware we could contact staff re the TV reception (as we thought it would cost us a "call-out" fee) considering it was the weekend and the hotel reception wasn't manned. We were happy with the cost for the 2 night stay. Gabba Centre by Q Resorts is close and central. I also liked the security measures given I was a solo traveller. Secure carpark and secure entry to the room.The extra convenience of being located near a supermarket helped greatly. I had a studio apartment which was comfortable and good value to include a kitchenette with gas stove and microwave. Overall a good stay. Very clean and comfortable apartment that we stayed in for three nights. At about $85 per night, it was outstanding value for the standard of room and relatively new facilities provided. We understand that not all of the apartments are fitted out / furnished to the same standard, so we were very fortunate being allocated apartemnt 162B. I have now stayed here 3 times first with my Husband when he was alive and have been back twice since his passing and have always found staff very friendly and helpful plus its an easy walk to South Bank and you have also got the Gabba Oval across the road plus the Bus Station is on the opposite corner vert convienent. I liked the price, the studio with kitchen, the modern set out, the location. I also liked that there was no mini bar as there is a Coles downstairs. I liked that housekeeping was not daily. I liked the security. There is not much official parking but I liked that the next level up is available and permissible. I liked the fact that the hotel was so central. It was spotlessly clean, well laid out and spacious. It was great to have access to a pool and sauna and if we had been staying longer we would certainly have used those. The staff were very pleasant and helpful whenever I spoke to them. We went solely to go to the afl game, from 3 destinations in Australia. We had 3 generations of family who were catered for very well. There was a Coles store so we could buy provisions, a great bakery, a fantastic view of the 'Gabba, and plenty of restaurants. We stayed in the 1 bdrm unit. Great location, just a short walk over the river to the city. Free secured parking. Clean units, well equipped kitchen, dining area and laundry. Comfortable bedding and lounges. Clean towels and a range of pillows to choose from. Good location by bus exchange and above shops including supermarket and ATM. Other shops and cafes nearby. 6th floor has great views and near pool and gym. Good size lounge, bathroom and kitchen plus balcony. Good storage, TV and well equipped kitchen. The staff were very friendly, obliging and competent. When I lost my medication upon arriving home, the staff very quickly checked the room and phoned me back immediately. Comfortable bed. (Very important). Well appointed kitchen/laundry facilities. Excellant position everything you need in walking distance.Great pub with delious meals,close to bottle shop, cake shop & coles what more does one want.Cheaper than a Motel & can prepare own meals if you want.Will stay again if in Brisbane. 1st class,a group of us stayed there for 8 nights and found the facilities absolutely great.Staff were very helpful on a wide range of matters.Opposite The Gabba cricket ground so an iconic venue. Free wi fi and car parking. Highly recommended!. The studio was a good sized room with all required cooking amenities. I have stayed here before so I make use of the busway across the road where buses leave to Brisbane city every couple of minutes. Excellent location, value for money, friendly and helpful staff..... We were thrilled with our booking. Close to shops, transport and restaurants..... We just had a great time!. proximity to the gabba and the shops of woolangabba. Very close walk to Southbank and ferrt terminals to the city. The pool and gym were good. Excellant location to the Gabba footy ground,city and access to freway to gold coast and sunshine coast will stay when in Brisbane again. Will recommend it to people and will be coming to stay again. The location was close to the Gabba and a major Bus Stop. The location of Coles beneath the Apartment was very convenient. I've stayed here 4 times for business trips. The units are spacious with a big table so I comfortably do my paperwork. It was very close to city and walking distance to many shops, cafes etc had everything you needed in room. Very secure. comfort and space of the apartment, as well as cleanliness except sinkerator had not been cleaned out, quite smelly. Collingwood Cheer Squad so location was most important but room was clean & comfortable with a fantastic view. The location was very important to us and so the position was perfect. Also having Coles so close was a bonus. The studio apartment was well equipped with kitchen/laundry necessities. Shopping and dining nearby a bonus. Across the road from the Gabba - easy walk to the football. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will book with Gabba Central again if we need to be in that area. Central Location to the GABBA... we were in Brisbane for a game of football. Location. Was in town for an AFL match. Room was tidy. Our 1 bedroom apartment had ground-in dirty carpets, continuous curtaining dirty and the lounge was also dirty - in other words the apartment needs a reno. TV reception was terrible - which we reported on check-out Monday morning. A few things needed attention, TV antenna cable needed replacing and the bathroom sink was jammed with the stopper. The service was quick to fix the antenna cable but I didn't bother about the plugged bathroom sink. Did advise on my leaving though. The car parking arrangements take a bit of working out, but once established, were good; especially as parking is free!. I am being very picky but black marks on the walls. Looks as if someone just didn't care and dragged bags along the wall. We arrived after 3.00 pm and only someone else was there before us we would not have known what to do really. It would have taken ages to check in. I didn't feel there were enough towels, shampoo or conditioner for two people for two nights. We only had one shampoo and one conditioner and one towel each. Nothing, despite the scaffolding everywhere, it was all good. There was construction going on just outside our window and in the unit above and the drilling was very disruptive at times, however it did not ruin our stay. Shower good but set at a low fixed height, at 155cm I was fine but taller folk struggled a bit. Twin beds on the narrow and short side but comfortable. Location at busy intersection was noisy so didn't sit out on balcony. I was reluctant to cook as there was an expensive call-out if the smoke detector was alarmed and there didn't appear to be an exhaust fan in the kitchen area or the bathroom. Checking in with the secure parking etc. was messy. Once parked and sorted it was much easier as our visit progressed. The rooms were a bit plain but comfortable. It would be great if the rooms had the fox footy channel. the carpet smelt a bit near where the pool was. smoke detector very sensitive when cooking toast and breakfast goes off. Finding the office to book in and parking was a hassle - entrance to carpark not very well marked but that would have a lot to do with the current building works as well. The Wollongabba Hotel was closed by 10.10pm. nothing. There was no spa in hotel. Very difficult if you're not a local to find your way into carpark with road closures. Only one lift accessible after hrs and very confusing. difficulty in finding parking spaces underground as some were not well signed. Nothing we didn't like. Finding out where to park was a bit of a problem. We were unfamiliar with the area and it took a while to figure out the procedure. Temporary problem but extensive public works nearby and some work being undertaken in complex meant that it was noisy with reversing beeps starting at six a.m plus the odd clang and reverberating drills.Work will end eventually but detracts from facility at this time. The bin had not been emptied when we arrived and there was old milk and rubbish in the cupboard. Will be better when all the construction is finished. No balcony, would have been nice to get a bit of fresh air without having to leave the room. At the moment is difficult to access Lift system from basement parking was difficult first time Couldn't see where stairs in case of fire were. Had to wait for the room to be ready when we arrived. Check in time was 14:00, room wasn't ready until after 14:30 Had no toilet paper in the room on arrival. There was no instructions on the phone how to dial reception. Had to use the bathroom in the gym. The entire bathroom in the gym was filthy. Shower/soap scum. Basin was attrocious. -Closet in the room didn't have shelves. Not practical for long stays. noise from people walking through / partying in the public areas late at night or early morning. I little bit worn. Only stayed 1 night. Location, a little far from the city. Also, the construction works that sealed off access from Gibbon street to Stanley street. The noise from Ipswich Road restricted when the windows could be left open. The bathroom was old and had visible signs of mould, even after the weekly service. I stayed 13 days with the top of the toilet cistern missing, a bit unsightly. Would have liked wireless internet connection. Requested a fold away bed for my 3yr old son, to three different members of staff and it still wasn't put in the room. This was arranged on the second night after requesting again. Traffic a bit noisy not enough toiletries, dish washing and washing powder. Trying to find my way to lift 6 while parking underground was a nightmare. I suggest you put a diagram/directions on the notices which tell you that you are at the wrong lift so that you know where to go!. Bit of a maze to get to. Units bit old /run down Works on site ugly Long wait for lift Friends in another unit had larger bed, worse view. Poor signage in parking area. Very difficult to find a park. Ordinary shower head. Unit not serviced. Not being aware of the construction occurring...
