Nothing to fault here, a spotless and spacious self-contained apartment in a great location within easy walk of both the City and Fortitude Valley. The kitchenette was well-equipped with stove-top, dishwasher and microwave, plus plenty of pots, pans, glassware, plates etc.There is a nearby supermarket and coffee shop/deli, bottle shop and bakery and we had also had no problem with a pizza delivery finding us. There is a small starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, dish washing liquid, soap and toil.
todos opiniões » We love it. Very spacious balcony.. Every equipment in the apartment is functioning well. The rooms are great..the bathroom are clean and spacious..the kitchen is almost complete (would be lovely if has a bigger frying pan). A bit far from Queen St Mall area (around 15 mins walk), but nearby Woolsworth. Going down to the Queen St area is okay (going downhill), but coming back to the apartment is quite a journey as we have to walk uphill. I could not fault Frisco in any way. The studio unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped, the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Really handy to have the pool and gym on site - I utilised both. Fantastic location with Woollies supermarket and bottle shop just two minutes easy walk, central station five minute easy walk, river and queen street mall also just five minutes. Excellent value for money, suited my needs perfectly!. I liked it all. I especially liked the way that the apartments were appointed. It seemed like the managers have really given careful consideration to everything that someone would need who has chosen a serviced apartment over a hotel room. I found the staff very professional and friendly. Nothing was a problem for them. Large spacious apartment and balcony, close to train station and city centre. Good facilities dishwasher, washer, dryer, pool and small gym. On checkin we were shown a map of the area, landmarks and places of interest without event asking - nice touch!. Location was within walking distance to the queen street mall. We found Frisco quiet with well appointed rooms. With Woolworths a stones throw away, it wasn't difficult to relax. Felt like home away from home!! Would definitely stay here again. Nice large room with very good lighting and full kitchen facilities. Good value and walking distance to down town and South bank. The pool was nice and they had a small gym. Very quiet even with windows open. It was very comfortable and suited our purposes for the 3 day stay. It was close to the city and we were able to walk to most places. It was also very good that private car parking was provided. Lovely spacious, well appointed appartment, very centrally located and with secure on-site parking. Good value for the locality, size and standard of accommodation - will use again. As a family with young children it is more convenient if the shower head is detachable. Easy for the parents to give a quick shower to the kids. Maybe should provide bathmats. Also one of the room only has mirror in the bathroom area, would be great if there is a dresser and mirror in the room as well. Nothing to complain about that relates to the Frisco Apartments but during the day (I was in room 501) from 3/25-29 there was some unidentifiable loud banging sound coming continually from an adjacent building. It was very annoying and made it unable for me to to keep the window open to the verandah. I couldn't work out what the cause of the noise was, but Frisco should look in to that because it was an issue when I was trying to get some work done with the window open for fresh air. Nothing to mention. Mattress too soft. 2 nights was noisy from a group that used the veranda and smoke smell from smokers next to toilet window. Nothing really. Wi-fi worked intermittently. No cable TV. Nothing. N/A. The towels were worn thin and too small. It detracted from the overall effect. No servicing of apartment and will not return because of this .Would pay a little extra for it to be serviced each day. No air con in bedrooms. bath towels could be replaced/upgraded. Air conditioner outlet on the balcony next to the dining table. They one way street it is located in. The rubbish bins being on the ground floor. Air conditioning in Bed Room would have been nice. The desk closes at night. couldn't use the oven, was not working (knobs were not in working order to set temperature). no service for clean the room. nothing. Cleanliness could be better. Not very clean. no trolleys available. Poor lighting in lounge area and lack of view as expected and paid for. Squeaky fan. Inadequate blankets and pillows. Apartment was run down with holes in curtain and utensils were dirty. I booked for 3 nights but was only given 2 days of access to free Wifi and reception closed too early to enquire with them. All things are too old.
