  Vientos del Sur is a real find and Paz, who runs the place is a real gem. She picked our family of three and all our luggage up at the bus station and drove us back after our three night stay. Our apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly cleaned. We highly recommend Vientos del Sur. It is next to the start of all the hiking trails. We really liked how, given our interest in learning the language, she took the time to teach us phrases before venturing out for a hike, eating breakfast, and when checking in. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, as was the entire hosteria. There is a very nice kitchen, available to all guests, in a separate building, which contains couches, a tv, tables/chairs, refrige - Very friendly and helpful staff (speaking very little english though). Nice rooms and easy access to the sendero fitzroy. It also has a large kitchen and dining area in a separate building, very convenient for saving some money from the pricey local restaurants.
