It's located a little bit far from the Convention Center. If you want to go to the center from this hotel, you should use a bus or a cab.
My room and facility was super clean and it was perfect for what I needed. The value for the money was excellent.
This location is perfect for everything. Its close to beaches and shopping and my family in Ocean Beach.
I was pleasantly suprised by our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, and had been recently renovated. The staff was friendly andf helpful. It was definately a value for the price. I would recommend other people to stay at this hotel and I would absolutely stay there again.
They provided a crib for my infant son.

I loved the swimming pool. I liked the location as it was right next to the tram route and so close to Fashion Valley shopping centres yet right away from the hustle and bustle

Having a fine print notice posted on the front counter explaining hidden fees is not Exceptable! When it should be part of the check in process to let the customer know and agree with the additional charges and How much the final bill would be, I checked out early and will never be acceptant of that kind of business.Holding my refund for 3-5 business days is allowing you to make money off of my money! I need my difference(refund) immediately.

Outstanding location - Hotel Circle - allowed for easy commute to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Old Town, Airport, and more. We were able to go to the sites, then come back to the room for lunch and swimming and return to the sites for the evening - a great way to break things up for the kids. The room was recently updated and clean. It was plenty of space to accommodate a family of 4. The pool was wonderful. If you're looking for an economical place to stay that meets all the needs of vacationers who aren't in the room much, this is the place to stay.
The kitchenette upgrade was fine, but I'm not sure if there would have been much of a difference of just having the fridge and microwave. The kitchenette also included a small sink and a couple burners.
Great location only 5 minutes down the highway to the beach. There is lots of good and shopping nearby and the rooms were comfy and updated. It was a great stay for the money!
Being next to the elevators is loud but that's the only draw back.
The room was very clean and fresh. The decor was updated and contained a fridge and microwave. It is very close to downtown San Diego and freeway access. There was ample parking a pool and an elevator.
If you are up early this won't be an issue, but since the hotel is large and often busy, you will hear people checking out, rolling suite cases and talking outside your door every morning. I could not sleep past 8 each morning. There are worse things though...

I like how easy it was to check in and out. They didn't take a huge deposit and the staff was friendly. Very nice rooms and quiet. A good place to stay if you are a budget. I will be returning next time i am in San Diego.
Parking lot was always full. Had to park far away from room.
Very comfortable and cozy,jacuzzi was hot as one should be,loved it.Awesome breakfast aas well the server is totally on top of keeping all sections fully stocked for guests and no rush to close it up and kick you out like most all other hotels providing breakfast.
The location..."hotel circle" is the one aspect that is certainly a deal breaker in making the decision of where to stay for lodging.The one thing that would cause me to decide against choosing this particular location.nothing is in a convenient distance of hotel.it is a 20 dollar cab ride anywhere you might need to go.

The air conditioner didn't work, very hot, humid & uncomfortable. Reported to front desk but wasn't fixed. Staff very friendly.Clean rooms.

I did not like that I could hear everyone else in their rooms flushing their toilets and running water.

I didn't care for the location of the room. Would have preferred to be told beforehand it was located on the ground floor. That made it very noisy with kids, people walking by and the cars.. This was a handicapped room so towels were far from the shower and no place to put soap or set shampoos etc except on the floor;(
The price was right for a place to sleep. The room was fairly nice - updated furnishings. The pool was perfect temp and nicely secluded from excess noise. Easy location to get to beaches, downtown and Fashion Valley Mall.
Bathroom very tiny with small and older tub. Outside access to the rooms, walkways all had water running from air conditioning, not a big deal but not great!
Staff was very welcoming, rooms were large and clean. I had a room on the third foor, towerda the back, so less noise from the highway.

My room was spacious and very nice, the young lady that checked me out was great! The location was wonderful because we were literally 5-10 minutes away from everything, and the security guard is s doll
We stayed for 2 nights and both nights there was absolutely no parking, when I asked the night manager about this he was no help and told me to park in the red next to the registration office, but would not be liable for any damages to my car.

I booked a king size room but was told I was only to receive what was available when I checked in. The ac unit did not work correctly, it turned on and off all night waking me up. The temperature could not be set either. I'm glad I only paid half price because I would have been unsatisfied had I paid full.
Staff friendly and available. We had a problem with the lock of the door and we got it replaced in 10 minutes.
Location. You need a car to get anywhere: downtown, beaches...
Older building: Felt the room we were in, 239, shake when folks walked on the balcony, the room above, below, and on the sides. A good nights sleep was impossible
I liked the pool and hot tub facilities and the central location to shopping and beaches.
The hotel overall was older and smelled stale including the lobby. The carpet in our room was visibly dirty. We chose the hotel because of the kitchenette; however, it was super tiny and the countertop where we prepared our food neighbored the sink that we used to brush our teeth and wash up in the morning! Also the hotel ran out of tickets to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. I expected better quality for a room that charges $167.00 per night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
