  The staff was great, the room had all we needed and more. The location was great, despite being at the top of a hill. - Nice and quite. Large apartment! Clothes washer in apt! Great view of Pico and bay.

  Really really loved this apartment, nice and centrally located in Horta. Evidently very new, with new lovely kitchenette, living room, and bed. This place was immensely comfortable for us to stay in and relax and we loved the kitchenette to cook our own dinners. We also enjoyed the balcony, and the place was kept super clean. We absolutely loved everything about this apartment, the price was great, and would definitely recommend thi - The apartments are very spacious and spotlessly clean. Apartment, furniture and appliances are all very new and modern. Excellent location directly on the seafront avenue in Horta, view on Pico out of the window.

  The best was the service provided by the hotel keeper, clean and friendly. As well very good location near to harbour and with a view of both ends of the bahia, just beutiful. - Very nice clean apartment just 5 min walking distance from the center. Super friendly staff, excellent design interior. Highly recommended!

  Very large and comfortable apartments for the same price as a budget hotel room. Very nice to have all the space and very clean. Manager is there on the spot to help but remember that these are apartments and that there is not 24 hour service. Plenty of restaurants, bars, grocery stores nearby. Great no super value for the money. - Extremely helpful staff. Apartment is well equiped, which includes english tourist guide and brochures with best restaurants (not meaning most expensive ones). Salt, pepper and few tea bags would make it perfect. Apartment is being cleaned every day. Beds are very comfortable. Location is good, close to restaurants, shops, but Horta is not exactly a metropoly, so... Bottom line, I'd definetely recommend Sao Joao to everyone. You won't be disapointed
