  We stayed there with a 3 month old baby and were extremely pleased with the apartment: location, tidiness, space + fact that it was on ground floor (easy with a stroller). So it's a very spacious apartment on the ground floor. We really liked the area where the apartment is , it is not to far from the centre, but in a more residential area.The Saturday market nearby was great .It was really nice that the owner was there on our arrival to greet us, with an explanation of the apartment and tips on what to in Amsterdam.

Paul was an excellent host. When we arri - I have never stayed in a houseboat before. I was not disappointed. It was a great apparment on the canal. Great view through the large windows. Excellent facilities. Very comfortable bed, good kichenette and excellent bathroom. Close to everything, shops, resaurants, but not noisy - just the right balance. I was on a business trip, but plan to go back in the Spring with my wife. Paul and Patricia were terrific in helping out and providing advice. Great service!

  Indeed my family truly enjoyed our stay in your hotel. All your staff have been wonderful during our stay there. I would like to especially commend Lisa for helping arrange our tour in Amsterdam. She was nice and efficient in checking us in in an instance as the rooms are all ready and check in packets are all ready at the time of our arrival. Going on an evening stroll amongst some of the most beautiful canals ever created, you'll find yourself amid some of the most intriguing sites Amsterdam has to offer (Ann Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, Dam Square...). At the same time, this Boutique Hotel is located in a part of the city which has such a neighborly feel, you'll find yourself wishing you a resident rather than just a tourist.   Excellent location, in a nice quiet area but still close to everything. You felt like you were living as a local. Lovely view of the canal and ideal for visiting Anne Frank House. Booked in at a cute antique shop and check out was really simple, just posting keys through the letter box.   Was easy to find, but the door is well hidden just before the Indian restaurant, back room very quiet. Owners live upstairs and lower 2 rooms are used as b&b provided croissants, muffins and coffee for breakfast each day. Massive room and a balcony. Shame there wasn't a view! Overall happy for 198 euro for 2 nights.
