Good host who provided useful local information on nearby pubs and cafes. Very close to Central station and tram routes. Flat well sourced with tea/coffee and travel guides/maps. Luckily we were on first floor - good tip to ask for this flat. Able to leave bags in cycle shop next door which was also run by our host. Very good value for centre

This is probably the most impressive Bed&Breakfast that we have ever stayed in European countries. At beginning it may appear to be a common cheap and dirty small hotel in downtown. First of all, when we arrived, Goran (the manager) was waiting for us. He explained everything, gave tips of places to visit the city, showed the whole house and its facilities. I could feel immediately the level of care and love he put even in the smallest details... The location is perfect, less then 10 minutes walk from the train station. We stayed 2 nights at the Crown B&B. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes walk from Centraal Station and surprisingly close to all of the sights. I loved the experience of staying in this beautiful, well maintained, centrally located typical Amsterdam building which was the main reason I picked this place. The room was tactfully and pleasantly decorated as well as the kitchen/dining area, which was very spacious and modern. The bathroom in our room was HUGE and fancy. Rudy and Pia are wonderful hosts. I was only staying for one night en route to Africa, but they were very accommodating in every way. The Garden Room is spacious and comfortable. They thoughtfully provide breakfast in the room so that guests can have it at whatever time is best. Also, the location is excellent--very walkable to many if not most of Amsterdam's major places of interest. One note: the two flights of stairs are steep, so that may be something to consider.

The room was great, unusual in that it felt luxurious. Those coffee bags were great, nothing like that in England. I have told everybody about them! It was central and value for money in comparison to what I have paid before and not been as happy with.

Excellent location, all the attractions/places to visit are within 5-10 mins walk of the hotel. A canal tour and coffee shop are situated right outside the door.
We had the double room with private bathroom, very spacious and comfortable. Also a little rooftop terrace with beautiful views.

we had an excellent time at residence sweets, the staff treat you like family and are lovely, our breakfast every morning was amazing and fresh.. the room was tidy, clean and spacious. excellent location near to all squares and just around the corner is canal trips and shops. we got to come and go as we pleased,excellent. we really enjoyed our stay, and will defiantly be booking again, thank you
