Our room was utterly charming, and the service was very gracious. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a lovely view of the lake. Our hostess was so helpful as we planned our tours for the next day. We definately plan to visit the Inn in the Lake again.

  We were traveling with our grandchildren to the Amsterdam area. This guesthouse was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were spotless and beautifully appointed.   Quiet farm location a few minutes cycle ride or drive from the pretty harbour village of Monickendam. Friendly hosts and good, clean, simple rooms in newly built building in style of old barn. Good location for visiting Amsterdam using park and ride or for bicycling in the local area.
