the room was comfy and wasnt too expensive. very satisfied with the location with pahlawan, mahkota, taming sari, river ferry and jonker all in walking distance. room in the 3rd floor could get a little bit of sea view as well which was awesome. 4/5 for the bathroom, hair dryer was provided as well. overall a very satisfying stay. I like like the affordability and the deco of the room. I also like the chinese lady at the counter that attended to me on 11nov13. She has got very good service. I also like the staff on 12nov13. They were friendly and helpful too but the chinese lady was better because she seeemed genuine in her service.
wszystkie opinie » I mentioned in the booking that this trip for moneymoon purpose. The staff had decorated my room with love shaped balloons and romantic feel. My GF love it so much! It gave us a memorable stay!! Thanks!!! The room is clean and comfort!!! The welcome drink is nice! Will stay again if have chance!!. The hotel staff are able to provide help and respond to requests very quickly. Asked for a prayer mat and toilet door key and the items reached our hotel room in less than 5 minutes. The design of the room is very nice. The toilet and beds are all clean. The price is value-for-money. -when entering the hotel and seeing the receptionist I knew why it is called "Venus"! But the balance of the staff was great as well .. -nicely decorated rooms - free parking opp hotel - end of the road good Chinese Restaurant (Carlsberg). My brother left his wallet in the safe and the staff called back to inform us about this after checking out. Glad to hear this despite cheap accomodation their staffs were honest and friendly. Highly recommended. the hotel is so near to all attraction that can be found and it is easy to move ard and the hotel itself is comfortable to stay....but i think there is room for improvement.... Someone got stuck in there due to the difficulty to open the door from inside. So we made a call to the reception for a help, however, no one pick up the call and we had to go down to ask for help. - be careful when not parking at hotel's car park - even adjacent places carry a heavy fine/parking fee. no fridge in the room...breakfast could be more better in terms of menu and maybe u guys can plan of having room service.... The size of the room is small however just nice for a short trip.. none. Pre-ordered taxi for 10:15am but it did not show up and we almost missed our 11am bus back to Singapore. It was probably taxi company's fault though and not the hotel's. The food was dissapointing.the staff at the restaurant too was not friendly.i had to ask them to stop playing the same song again and again.the food served was very slow and i had to ask for replishment. - when showering, water tend to overflow and wet the dry area. - spray gun valve inlet was found leaking when used. We had to park our car under the flyover, which was not so safe and it's dusty too. Our bathroom door could not be locked. Wifi didn't work even try so many times n complaint to front office staff. The queen bed rooms are quite small. Twin rooms are ok. The breakfast seems improved, we had one day a la carte for main course+buffet and the other day buffet for everything. The connection of WIFI is not stable, not working all the time. The only disappointment was the breakfast they had...not much variety...if they had at least 5-7 dishes...it would be awesome...my trip would b worth while... The room smells "mushy" damp. The a/c was very cold. There should be slightly more selection for the breakfast buffet. However, overall still ok. The TV channel need improve the signal, no clear and no much choice. The breakfast need improve, they should put candle to heat the food. We eat like just take out frm freeze very cold. The taste is no bad. They should ask guest room number before go in having the breakfast not during their breakfast. Staff was not as helpful and friendly as expected, but all in all we had a nice stay. Can improve on the breakfast quality,. The hotel breakfast is so horrible. How could the hotel serve cold coffee? Should really improve on the breakfast. No indication on how to switch on the hot water, but once we figured it out, all was great!. Wifi is not strong enough in the rooms. Breakfast was horrible,not much choices and they don't bother to replenish all the food at about 8.45 am but most of the tray are empty. internet was not up for 1 day. N.A. The open carpark between the hotel and Makhota Parade Shopping Ctr. It is so dirty and dark at nite. If breakfast can be a little more variety. I wish they have refrigerator in room. Only drawback is hot water is not hot enough, lukewarm. Need to improve. shower water need improvement, because is not enough warm. the shower room water pressure is too low!! hope the management will look into this matter. hopefully to install water boaster pump. No eating place in house. Hot water shower is not hot enough.
