When looking for a hotel in Tropea, I selected the hotel with as few as possible negative remarks. We had planned a week of relaxing in Calabria to recover from a very stressful period at work, so we really wanted a 'safe haven' where there would be no annoyances and disturbances. Beautiful building - other than Santa Maria dell'Isola, I think this was the nicest building in town. Lovely the way it is lit up at night. The breakfast was outstanding - offering all kinds of local foods I wanted to try (mozzarella di bufalo, black olives, sundried tomatoes in olive oil and many more), plus bread meat, cheese, variety of juices etc. all set in a lovely outdoor garden. Room was a bit small but decent.

... co mówią ludzie » asureto wake up to she was so helpful. - The warm service of the staff made the stay very enjoyable. The breakfasts were gastronomical and the service hospitable. A real effort was made to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect, only a few hundred meters from the beach and town square. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend Villa Antica Tropea to others.

We were delightfully taken back in time of grandeur staying at this beautiful B&B. The accommodations are separate from the main villa, with your own patio to sit and watch the view. The garden was peaceful and relaxing to walk in, Alessandro and his mother cooked the best breakfast that we had on our trip. Fruits, eggs, french toast omelette's, sweets, juices etc. with homemade jams. Everyday was a surprise as it was a different breakfast laid before us. We ate under the pogoda with colour

Staff was amazing. We really felt treated as part of the family yet having privacy. Very nice breakfast with bellissimo cappuccino. It was ideally located just off the beach. Very comfortable bed. Good water pressure of the shower. Beautiful bedroom with balcony overlooking the garden. For us it was a perfect vacation. -

Ja spędzałam czas w apartamencie dla 4 osób- miejsce czyste i wygodne. Fajna kuchnia, 2 łazienki i 3 sypialne. Piękny budynek, wygodne wyposażenie. Do plaży po schodach 10 minut.

Valentina, Silvana and Francesca. The rooftop terrace is a dream,
sparrows circling in the sky, views of the ocean, a place to read and
think and write and they serve a delicious breakfast there in the
mornings -- the best I had in Italy. THe location is excellent for

Everything about this hotel is top notch.
Room is bright, spacious, clean and very charming.
The view from the terrace where breakfast and dinner (apperitivo) are held is gorgeous, aspecially in the evening. Breakfast and apperitivo are very tasty, with fresh local food. Plus it gave us a chance to chat with other guests all we want.
The last but not the least is the owner, Roberto. His welkomming, attentive and very friendly. He actually cares about his guests.
We've enjoyed our stay.

Fully agree with previous positive comments about location, cleanliness, services etc. I would like to point out one more thing - great breakfasts. Good basic offer and several additional options changing every morning. Another important "pro" for those who stay for longer period.
