  Haus am Kipp is a beautiful place to stay with many outstanding attributes! The owners are very accommodating and gracious hosts who also prepare gourmet-quality dinners for their guests at a very reasonable price. My room was spacious and had a lovely view as well as clean and quiet. Bathroom, while small, was modern with a fabulous shower. Breakfast was superb. Coffee/tea/cold drinks available during the day. The hospitality and generosity shown by the owners was exceptional. As a solo traveller it was nice to be welcomed back at the return of each days outings. I would return without hesitation.

  Everything was great, lovely apartment overlooking the Moselle River, very quiet. Plenty of places to visit, great food, local wines and beers. Would highly recommend and stay again, lovely family.

  We have been travelling for four months and have stayed in some wonderful places. Villa Alkener was a highlight of our trip. It has a spectacular view of the Mosel River with boats drifting slowly by and trains meandering around the base of the mountains,. Large rooms. Very good air conditioning. Really was five star. Great location, half way between Koblenz and Cochem. Easy drive or bus ride or ferry in either direction.
