  It's a family run hotel and I haven't seen that German hospitality anywhere in Germany. Those are some really nice couple!!! Nice antique hotel decor. Nice mountain view from the balcony. Only 5 minutes drive to Garmisch. It's a plus to have wireless internet also.My husband and I love to stay in this hotel over and over again.

The staff work hard to make sure everything is how you like it and they are happy to give you advice and tips on the area. It's situated in a little town just outside GP but the road access is excellent and its very central to the main sights. Great cakes and lovely breakfast. My ten year old loved the cows in the morning. - Best hotel of our trip. Host was warm/gracious. Food was excellent with extras like coffee cake for breakfast and cake and tea in the afternoon. We had a large room on the 3rd floor: beautiful wood work; nice details; balcony overlooking the mountains. The best thing of all was the herd of cows being driven to the barn to be milked and then back to pasture, right under our window.
