We booked to stay one night at the Hotel Maquis et Mar because of its
position and price. The location was very convenient as it was right in
the town centre with several cafes and restaurants within walking
distance. We were upgraded to a bigger room in the old, historic wing of
the hotel. The room was spacious, light and airy and spotlessly clea

Breakfast aside, the room was excellent value for money, given that

Central position of the hotel, free parking, the staff is really kind and helpful, the sea view from the balcony was really nice but I wouldnt pay for the sea view room (we were probably upgraded), budget friendly, nice for couple of nights max.

The villa we were allocated to was high up so had fabulous views of the sea. As long as you are reasonably fit you can walk to the beach. There was a barbecue to use and a swimming pool to cool off in. -
