the villa was tastefully decorated and well designed for comfort and privacy...in a gorgeous setting..with a pool...and patios with tables and chairs to relax and sun in..and rose bushes and lovely plants surrounding the areas of the villa.....very close to the town of Roussillon...minutes away...in the shadows of the great red rocks and limestone hills...and breakfast served on the patio in the morning sun gazing at all this beauty with birds singing!!!...Madame was very helpful in making an a. wszystkie opinie »
We booked a suite in this guesthouse and stayed there for two nights. The room was lovely and very comfortable with little touches like coffee in the room. The couple Lisanne and her husband were charming, very friendly and very welcoming. The house itself is situated in a beautiful position. I cannot remember ever staying anywhere in Europe that was so quiet and peaceful. We loved it.
1. The very warm and friendly hosts.
2. The local setting of the hotel as it is in secluded location and faces the impressive ocre-red hills without being spoilt by other dwellings or man-made structures.
Excellent location, cozy, silent, nice view on red mountains. Rooms big and decorated nicely. Clean big swimming pool. Extremely friendly owner.
A great find! Beautiful accommodation, great hosts and a wonderful location. The magnificent breakfast by the pool was a real highlight.

The hotel is difficult to locate and can be missed easily without help from the local Tourism office.

Roussilon is a very small vilage and there are not many options for dinner. As the landlord made it very clear that eating and drinking in the room unacceptable, we did not know what to do. Later the landldy solved the issue by allowing us to warm up some of our contingency food.
Owners (couple) live downstairs and there is practically no privacy at all. Really bad soundprooding and we got complaints about keeping noise in stairs and slamming doors. So can't recommend for families with young childs (who are always noisy) or for honeymoon couples. Owner speaks only French. The road to property was really steep and the bottom of our car hit the ground few times when driving in.
It"s very difficult to find even with navigator, there isn"t any board there. We needed help to get villa. The owner doesn"t speak English.
Difficult to find. No signage.
Be warned, Roussillon can be overwhelmingly busy, even in the off season!.
