  Right from our first contact, the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. there was no pressure to use their restaurant, which was too expensive for our budget, although the menu looked delicious. We only found one other place to eat in the village and enjoyed a nice meal at the pizzeria. A pot of tea was made for me without any special request. - Le Bretagne has a good restaurant with excellent value menus. Very motorcycle friendly, I was invited to park mine in the garage next to the family's Yam 1300. Good breakfast by French standards. Indulgent hosts.   Wonderful village. Must take a walk up to hill --splendid view. And we were surprised by a Crucifix overlooking the beautiful little village and a tower to Our Lady! The hosts were very nice and and helpful. Spoke English... Very nice room. Do not miss this one. We would like to go back for an extended stay. Will definitely visit again but stay longer next time. Mont Dol was a lovely village with lots going on.

I made my booking a couple of hours before showing up & even so I was welcomed with such warmth and hospitality, which made the start of my solo trip so easy! I was treated to a lovely home-cooked meal (Hans sure knows his way around a kitchen), and was granted a guide - Great place, all the good things you expect from a good b&b Charming location, friendly and accomodating owners. Very relaxing in the countryside close to saint malo, and mount saint michel. Will definitely recommend and come back when we are back in the area. A must.
