Marvelous, warm and empathetic staff. I actually managed to get mylaundry locked in a coin operated washer in town. The staff kindlyhelped me call the emergency number and patiently waited forinstructions on how to release all of my travel clothing. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were well laid out, spacious and comfortable. The hotel was clean and well presented with a pretty garden to relax in and where you could also take breakfast in the covered out door dinning area. The hotel is very well situated for easy access to the shopping area and a short walk to the old harbor. Free

We are both entranced by the charming ambience of the hotel. It suited
our needs perfectly. The bedroom was large and lovely. The breakfast
room was decorated in a pale yellow , patterned china cups and saucers
took us back to a relaxed, gentle era. The rose garden and traditional
sculptures were enchanting too. What a perfect "retreat" after
enjoying the many things of interest in La Rochelle. We plan to return
to the same hotel next year.

This was a very, very nice hotel indeed. Extremely comfortable and the design features were greatly appreciated. We would definitely want to stay at this hotel again if we came back to La Rochelle. It was also very convenient for everything that the town has to offer. -

I loved the fact it was a relaxed atmosphere,not stuck up like somehotels. We booked on line and was'nt to sure about the location.Thankfully it was a fantasic location close enough to the town butfar enough away that we did'nt hear all the music on the front. Great view from the rooms facing the marina. From these rooms after 8 pm
you get a nice view on the street that is closed for public traffic and
made a long pedestrian zone with musicians and artists and a lot of
people. The rooms are modern and really clean. A lot of great
restaurants are along the street. It's worth to take a nice walk
around the little harbour and through the old city.
