The staff spoke excellent english. They were extremely helpful when booking in and also throughout my stay. A short walk to the centre of Honfleur made everything just perfect for a short break. The hotel was excellent. The location is great, about 5 minutes by foot from the center of the town. Very clean. We prefer to eat breakfast in a nice boulangerie, rather than the hotel :).

The ambiance of the reception area and the welcome by the staff was very warm and friendly. The staff could not have done more for us. Only there for one night. Modern and comfortable. Plenty of parking and walk into town was fine,only about 10 mins. Super hotel - just right for walking into the main town - but far enough away to avoid the noise at night!. Location was handy for the town. It was ideal for a one night stay whilst travelling. Staff were helpful. We did move rooms because there was a strange odour in the one we were allocated and the sound proofing of the bedrooms is not good. I could hear a neighbours TV late into the night. But these were incidentals. Everything was fine. No coffee making facilities in room. The restaurant was closed at the weekend. We had travelled and so would have preferred to eat at the hotel. We enjoy walking so we didn't mind the 10/15 minutes to the town centre - it's a straight flat road. Nothing. Expensive breakfast. Nothing. Nothing to speak of. unfriendly receptionist on arrival. Very friendly other receptionist on departure. First hotel in all my years that could not provide a local map !. nothing. We prefer older places but as a walkable place into Honfleur it was superb. No tea/coffee making in the room Very noisy road even with window shut - stay at back of hotel if pos. Very little. There was noting we disliked. Nothing much not to like for a budget hotel. Quite good. Nice breakfast. Went into town for dinner. The place is a bit shabby and the lady on the front desk never cracked a smile. bath room damp needs up dating cracked sink,on going to dinner friday night restaurant not open also closed saturday night. no notice at reception to inform you.saturday night dearer rate. There is NO spa there, even it is stated in their description. Therefore, I think it is significantly overpriced. Wifi advertised but not available. Unfriendly staff.
