Very friendly warm reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely continental breakfast. - Staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Superb Location. We will hopefully return for a longer stay.

Mother and daughter traveling through the "pays basque", we choose on internet to stay in the "chateau du clair de Lune" and that's one of the best idea! It's just perfect.
The location is 10 mn out of city center,out of traffic,in the gorgeous countryside, but close from everything! The staff (Isabelle) was helpful and very welcoming.

Great hotel with good rooms and well located. It would be tricky without a car as its about 5km from Biarritz town centre. We stayed in the Hunting Lodge in the Lavender room which was very a comfortable room with a balcony. The pool area is very relaxing and the small pool bar was perfect for a few drinks and a salad during the day. We had a great time here.

We so enjoyed our stay. Old fashioned for the ambiance and modern where it was needed. Such a pleasant change from the anonymous modernity of most hotels. the owners were delightfully helpful and friendly. Very convenient location, comfortable beds, immaculately clean and well decorated, which bearing in mind our visit was at the end of the season

The staff were incredibly helpful and very nice. The location was absolutely perfect and, although the parking was on the street and as you could find it, we managed to get a spot right next to the hotel. The room was very big and lovely. I loved the separate 'walk-in-robe'. Such a gorgeous town, a pity the weather wasn't very good. Definitely a place I will be going back to and this is where I would stay again.

Lovely comfy bed. The hotel was small but in a great location in town, quiet but central. Nice courtyard but we didn't use it. Took breakfast in local cafes instead. -
Very friendly staff, who could not do enough to assist where required; far beyond the call of duty!
Excellent location for the city and also for the sea side.

staff were very friendly and the cost was excellent - the rooms were large and clean upon arrival. excellent all round - very nice room with lovely outlook. nice and quiet and close to everything. amazing customer service when dealt with politely. dont let the tacky exterior of the building stop you from using this hotel! really nice local grocer,

Staff was very accomodating. Since there is no elevator, and I was staying for just one night traveling with a heavy suitcase following a business trip, I was offered a room on a lower floor and the staff carried my bag to the room. They provided a map of the city and directions to local sites. The hotel really merits its inclusion in the Charmi

The room was clean, staff friendly, and it was close to everything. Very quiet, great water pressure in the shower, and the whole place smells lovely (of lavender). A very nice experience.

Pretty much everything though we did not eat at the hotel apart from a coffee and croissant in the morning so i would have to limit our comments in that regard - i think the location is probably what made the strongest impression with its panoramic view of the beach and promenade. -

There are rooms on the 3rd floor with big balconies. We were on the 4th floor, with at least a good view and big windows. Public parking at one- minute walking distance
