Easy access to beach from hotel but subsequently found that the town beaches were prettier and water looked much clearer. - Excellent for an airport hotel. Two minutes to the airport by car/taxi.   Location was good within easy walk of all the main sights. Loads of restaurants of various types and price ranges within a few minutes walk. Very clean and modern room and bathroom, comfortable big bed! Kettle in room was a bonus. ask for a sea view though - it makes all the difference. Fun to watch the donkey's in the citadelle moat just opposite... co mówią ludzie » ! Beach just across the road to right of citadelle and down steps. Walk around the bay away from the port and there is an amazing childrens playground - The location was perfect, the old town, the beach and several restaurants within walking distance. Our room was upgraded and we had a terrific view of the Meditearrean. The maids did a fabulous job best I have seen and we have travelled a lot. Breakfast was good and taxi to the airport was right on time.

  We toured Corsica by car in early April, this hotel was our 2nd stop having first stayed in ‘La Pietra’ hotel on the wild peninsula of L’ile Rousse. Les Mouettes has charm and character; it was very clean and tastefully decorated. Our room was spacious, comfortable, with a great view of the gulf. All through our short stay, the staff proved friendly and helpful. A great first night in Corsica !
