caves. Hotel rent bikes and you can do a bike trip starting from the
hotel. Hotel could provide a guide to do this. Staff speak english and

An extraordinary place, rich with history, kind hosts and staff who speak some English, comfortable rooms and the best food we had in China. The village, Jiuxian, is a living example of an ancient farm community, all owned by 2 families (who choose a headman to settle any disputes). The couple that manned the desk are very friendly and accommodating. They helped coordinate our adventures on the Li River, taxis, and provided great information for a great time on the Yangshuo town. The location and atmosphere are absolutely perfect and we wish we could have afforded the time to remain a couple more days to just chill out enjoy

Nous revenons tout juste de notre sejour a l'hotel, nous avons passe deux jours formidables. Le cadre est juste exceptionnel ! Nous avons vraiment apprecie le fait de pouvoir sortir un peu de la ville pour se retrouver dans ce havre de paix. Le cadre est luxuriant, plein de charme et la vue sur la baie et les montagnes est juste a couper le souffle. La chambre etait simple mais tres bien equipee (wifi, TV, lit confortable..)

This was one of our last stops in a 5 week trip through china and definately one of the highlights. The hotel is very comfortable with great views and really atmosphere. The staff were able to organise all of our travel plans and activities, oh and the food was good also. Would definately stay here again and recommend to others

If you are in Yangshuo and you like cheese, vegetable, fruit and wine, then you must try the Panoramic restaurant (top floor of the hotel)
1) Go early. They do not take reservations.
2) Go with at least 2 people, so that you can sample more things, as they have so many things to choose from.
3) Bring your appetite for adventure - sure you will fin

This is a really nice small boutique hotel with a great location by the Yulong river, probably the best location in town for viewing the scenery. It is away from the noisy Bar Street but a 5-min cabride can easily take us there. The design very tasteful, carefully renovated from an old Chinese-style building, rooms spacious and comfortable, bath water pressure great.

nights at Village Retreat and we wish we had spent all our days here! So
much nicer to trade the awful Chinese disco sounds and scooter alarms in

We loved the rooms, and the beds were wonderfully soft which is rare in
China. We had one of the chalets and it was great to have a big space to
group and hang out in during our down time. The staff was wonderful and
were happy to help us with whatever we needed. They booked taxis and
shuttles, helped us with reservations, and were all fluent in English.

The location is amazing, outside of the hustle and bustle of the city
centre, in the middle of the countryside. This is a place where you can

This place is lovely and very laid back. Its true that it takes a bit to get there from Yangshuo town, but the walk/ride is worth it. Its a quiet and safe place to stay and one of the best experiences I had while travelling China, at a very reasonable price!
My room was big, clean and had everything I needed. The food you can eat at the hostel is great, too.
The best thing about this place is the crew of the hostel. They arranged several trips for me, answered questions and were incredibly nice
