Inside the hotel it was really modern and the decor was great. It was great value and we felt happy about the place. The staff were fantastic and spoke very good English. They looked after our bags between 8am when we arrived in town till a 2pm check in. It is so close to the bund it isn't funny and only a 5-10min walk to the main metro undergroun

We were amazed by how nice this hotel is. Exterior look is nothing fantastic and alittle disappointing. However, the interior was very nicely and tastefully done up. The restaurant area was extremely nice for a wine at night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Concierge, Nicholas knows everything. He provided excellent recommendations for dining, made the reservations and provided directions. There are great dining options close to the hotel. The complimentary tea and coffee and cookies in the lounge 24 hours was a god -send after a day out in the Shanghai heat. We were given a free upgrade upon check-in and stayed in a nice room on the 5th floor. It was really clean, spacious and I really liked the design (a bit kitchy, literally everything in the room was green, but quirky and definitely not your usual hotel room). Bathroom was also clean and roomy, with all necessary amenities, towels changed daily. Location is centrally located within the financial district and it's beside IFC mall and other stores. Rooms are luxurious and well-appointed. Not crowded and there is free coffee/tea/soda/nuts/chips and cookies at the commonnliving room in the 3rd floor. Indoor pool and gym are great and wi-fi is free and fast. Staff are great, friendly and warm. They can express themselves in English. Worth going back and staying at this hotel again.

This is a choice for accommodation that delivers on multiple aspects. When one thinks of Shanghai, The Bund pops up not long after. This hostel's locations is ideally ON THE BUND!!l!! Brilliant location right by the Bund, excellent places to eat nearby.
Short easy walk to Metro 10 mins max but lots of cheap taxis at the end
of the road. The friendly staff spoke English and gave 5 star service!
Nothing was too much trouble. We had a triple room on 4th floor with
free wifi in the room and free internet in a computer room on the same
floor!! The beds were comfortable and clean, shower powerful and hot.
For less than £7 per night per person, in our triple room I have no
complain
