  The hotel lobby looked impressive and set expectations very high. The check in process was fast and easy. We loved the elevator with a view. The indoor/outdoor pool was great as was the sauna and locker room. The room was nice as well with nice finishes (wood, granite counters, tile, etc). It was very convenient to have a fridge. And the restaurant service was very attentive and - Location perfect - could walk to so much. View was awesome - 20th floor toward needle, like a postcard. Breakfast nice (included), service excellent.Quiet. Loved the glass elevators. Pool was nice, good sauna. Porters out front let us know about the self-park garage which was $21 for overnight and we were very close to the hotel entrance. The room and bed was so nice, we enjoyed spending time there.

  The hotel staff went out of their way to make our visit special. My husband made some requests because we were staying for our 44th anniversary, and the hotel staff went beyond what he requested. We were treated like royalty by Gerd, Tewalde and Mohammed, and we have already planned to return for our next anniversary. Th - We can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at the RoyalYork. It was our winter get away the year.( Didn't have time for an island trip ) We took the train to get to Toronto, so we just walked across the street. The Royal York is so majestic that as soon as the door men open the door for you, it is like walking into another world. Everyone so helpful and polite. The Elite restaurant was fabulous.   Great location. I stayed at a room on the renovated floor which was very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Overall-a great hotel. - Room was recently beautifully redecorated - bright, cheery. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Very enjoyable!

  The hotel staffs were very helpful. They explain me everything and they make my stay more pleasant. Even the cleaner woman is very kind.
