The staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English. When we arrived at ilha grande we were immediately picked up by boat to go to the hotel. Although it rained a lot during our stay, the view and the excellent cooking made our stay one to remember for a long time -

Pousada Riacho Dos Cambucas was amazing! I can not say enough great
things about them. Very helpful and nice staff who spoke perfect
english. Great room with private bathroom and ac. Delicious breakfast
each morning. One night the island lost power and our Pousada still had

The room was lovely, with clean towels, nice hot showers and clean bedding. The breakfast was exceptionally good with fresh squeezed juice, fresh fruit and eggs on request.
