  The room was amazing, the best hotel room I have stayed at, we ended up spending a lot more time in the room than I normally would when I stay at a hotel, it was that pleasant. The fishtank was a great touch. Also, the breakfast was so good, a really good selection of hot and cold food was available. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the breakfast was lovely and the hotel itself was so cosy and inviting! There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel!

  The 1669 is basically excellent. Rooms were spacious, with a large comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were large and well equipped. Breakfast was superb, all the produce was organic.   Absolutely everything! Our rooms were very spacious, clean and actually looked like the pictures on the website! Our hosts were incredible and we would highly recommend staying at the Bonobo for families because of the extra space. The service was excellent. The manager took a keen interest on ensuring that any questions were answered and went out of his way to be as helpful as possible.   The hotel is beautiful. It is great to stay in a place that belonged to a famous artist - Samuel Coucke - and was restored with such love and care. You should definately ask about the history of this house - it is very interesting. The right place to stay in Brugge to fill the air of the city. There are 2 partkings near to the hotel ('T Zand parking cost less than 9 Euro per day - a very reasonable price in - The room was very large and lovely with a four poster bed and living room area. The bathroom was large and very up-to-date with an amazing stained glass window that had been made long ago at this very house. Staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. The fresh breakfast was wonderful and all this was within a 10 minute walk to the main plaza. We wish we had booked more than one night and plan to go back the next time we're in Europe.

  It was small enough to be cosy and welcoming but not too small. It was in an old town house just outside of the centre, so it was a lovely walk down a quiet cobbled street to the cathedral. It was nice to be out of the action because it was very busy in town, but wehad no traffic and it felt very peacful.
