We appreciated the calm of the backpack'. It's clean everywere and the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed the big common area, with big tables, comfortables sofas, billard and TV with DVD.
One of the best point : the free barbecue on every wednesday evening !

Absolutely on the waterfront with pelicans, ducks landing just outside the window if you ask for a waterfront room. Good selection of local eateries and great places to visit nearby. -

The room is basic, but it is neat and tidy. I also liked the fact that it was so close to everything, and I didn't require a car. It was quite, so I was able to get my much needed sleep. We were pleasantly surprised with "The Wright Lodge". Room was
small but quite adequate, very clean and comfortable. At check in we
were given directions to get to the city - not too far away - and the
staff were extremely helpful. Certainly value for money - we will stay
there again!

Fantastic and friendly staff member, josh. Spacious, clean kitchen with good equipment. Free wifi - though it took some time to get onto it. Comfortable room and (huge) bed with a fridge in the room too.

Owner could not have been more helpful. Although things like the kitchen units were not modern they were very well maintained and clean. This is just the right sort of place to relax after a days hiking/sight seeing. Interesting wild-life which the owner cared about. -

The owners of the hostel have been super nice to us, allowing me to drop
the booking and stay only 3 out of 4 days I booked. The place is really
close to the ferry wharf and it is just a perfect base to start your
adventure in ki! Clean rooms, big nice kitchen, shiny bathrooms, and
very very cheap compared to any other accommodation on ki! -

Unfortunately there was a mix-up with the backpackers in receiving my
online reservation, however the staff member rectified this by upgrading
my stay to a larger room with an ensuite which I was grateful for.
Accommodation was lovely and quiet which was much appreciated, great
location and excellent prices. -
