The Reception staff was wonderful, very welcoming and supportive. I got a text 10 am advising my room was available early - which was great because it was pouring with rain. Undercover parking was also really convenient due to rain. Could see the water from my room. Also in walking distance to shops and the walkway along the waterside. Really closeby was a great fish n chips takeaway store (lovely on a rainy day).

The spa with a view and a small flat screen above the spa was a delightful surprise ! The one staff member I met was very friendly and helpful in sorting out another bed st no extra charge. Great service!. We got upgraded to a 2bd suite which was really nice. The unit is nice and clean. We stayed in unit 5 which is right across from the pool. As a family with young kid, this is so handy. Five min walk to the beach and cafés. Staff is very nice as well. We would definitely come back. Loved the size of the 3br apartment. Good sized balcony. Kitchen was a good size as was the fridge. Rooftop balcony (private) is a great idea. Nice views. Tina on reception was very gracious and always helpful. Wonderful lady. Would stay here again. Watermark Caloundra was amazing. I loved everything about it.. Easy to get to, staff were amazing and so friendly. If you asked they delivered. I give Watermark a 10 out 10.. I look forward it going back. The location was perfect. Able to store our kayak in the basement car park and launch it in the nearby boat ramp. Great area for kayaking too. Also to be able to fish directly out the front was great. We like the size and comfort of the unit. The staff were friendly and accomadating. comfortable bed always a plus. Clearly a family friendly place which was lovley. I would certainly go back again. Close to shopping, movies, beach and markets. Lovely big lounge/dining area with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere, well kept. the receptionist was so helpfull and so nice 2 talk to;the room was spotless and comfortable and a beautifull.i recomend it 2 anybody.the rates were good.very happy. The position was fantastic....we loved the facilities. Great value for money,but I would have kitchen facilities next time if we stayed longer. peace of mind. found it easily, got my keys with no worries, was given trolley facilities for luggage and room was easily reached. Location was perfect, and the 3 bedroom apartment was huge, gave us a lot of space which we were not anticipating. the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the easy access from underground parking to the rooms. Views where awesome, overlooking the passage, and the rooftop terrace with spa was spectacular. Everything is all good and up to the expectation! We would love to come back again!!!. The bed in the main bedroom is a bit too small. Bathroom off main bedroom was clean however floor and window sill of shower were covered in small bugs. Probably just an oversight of house keeping. The only thing i didnt like, was the fact i only booked for one night.. The room did not have any chairs nor a table. The very small bar fridge was just on the floor with a small micro wave perched on top. Just as well we had good weather so we could eat outside. We would love to go there again but to a more comfortable room. A balcony would be nice. I thought there was a spa in the apartment and there wasn't. And no foxtel. when I went to return the keys back to reception. a guy with glasses received the keys. but he didn't even say hi, how are you? how was your stay with us. he didn't even smile. maybe I was from a different culture that's why. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apt and only had one car space, the off street parking out the front was ok though. undercover parking was secure but had to park outside as we could not fit our van under the roller door. the patio door very stiff and family member got locked outside. the heat remote had run down batteries and could not be used. every time I used the remote for the TV the heat unit would beep like it was going to do something and no one to assist with any issues. We didn't stay long enough. nothing. Cold showers, low water pressure. We had a smoker who wasnt able to smoke even on the balcony (outdoors). The appartment wasn't very clean. The TV in our room didnt work. The pools were more suited to adults. A bit more maintainance would be required. The aircon in the unit did not work at all. Not having a secure carpark. No insect screens on windows. Windows unable to be locked in a open position for ventilation. lots of spider webs & dust but did have up grade on day, do need to do bit more through cleaning- aircon very dirty vents & sinses told me that. beds may need to be upgraded. no secure parking and no lift - though this time we were on the ground floor. We weren't told on booking it would be a Motel style room. The room and bathroom were rather small. 'Outlook' was onto clothes line and windows of next door unit block, with pathway outside window. Hadn't been cleaned behind shutters for a while. However it was not expensive, so one gets what one pays for. It was fine for a two night stay. Rubbish underneathe our bed from previous people and the people above us ashing their ciggarettes down to our outside area. The holes on our door which made it difficult to change in the bedroom. There were a very noisy guests who dominated the pool area and then partied into the night, there was lots of shouting, drinking, whistling, bottle dropping. My mother in law was alarmed by two men in the path outside her window who were urinating against the wall. It was quite frankly a horrible stay especially at nearly $300 for the night and I won't be staying again. The beds were uncomfortable and old (both single beds were lumpy and one had springs protruding) and we felt the bathroom was in need of decoration. In comparison to other hotels we have stayed in, the room was very small for the price. We asked for a later check out (we were happy to pay) but were only given an hour. The hotel was far from full so we couldnt see the reasoning of this. Wouldnt stay again. Having to exit the apartment on the opposite side ,then walk around the entire building to get to the recreational facilities. Carpet although vaccuumed required a good clean - stained. Unit was VERY dated and needed renovating e.g. walls very marked,kitchen falling apart. the balcony floor and table was very dirty, when we complained about it the staff said there was nobody available to clean it until 4 pm that day . so we said don't bother we will clean it ourselves . both the reclining chairs in the lounge were broken we could use them at all . The bed in the main bedroom only had two pillows one each and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable . We stayed in an apartment (15) that bore no resemblance to any of pictures in web. Apartment was scruffy, poorly kitted out with mismatched everything and maintenance was lacking and apartment not particularly clean/ very dusty. Looked tired, toilet wouldn't stop running, fridge defrosted on us twice. Others seemed happy with their apartments, so you might want to check that the one you are allocated is closer to pics shown. Our room looked out over the walkway, no pool view for us. The was no daily room service which was ok but not noted anywhere. Had to ask staff for extra tea, coffee. No phone in room to call Customer Service Desk. We were able to park undercover this time but generally the room we had meant we would have to park outside in the open. The room was dirty and without the view it would have been very disappointing. We were under the understanding we would have 2 double beds and a spar in main bathroom. We had nether. Small room insufficient in-room facilities dirty carpet no room cleaning service. The apartment was run down a lot of broken things including tiles around pool causing safety hazard furniture shabby. it was dirty. cars were always parked in our allocated parking. The description of the room didn't reflect at all what the room is. Would not recommend this place. The room needed a good clean and was very small for the rates charged.The bed was very uncomfortable and resulted in very poor sleep and not much enjoyment of the days that followed.Would rather have gone camping.
